BondsPRO provides professional traders over 70,000 live prices (with 65 million price updates daily) on 10,000 different issues from over 300 contributing counterparties. BondsPRO posts live, anonymous, and executable orders on a single bond or list basis, and permits price negotiation. Its all-to-all connectivity allows supply to meet demand, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing spread. BCI is a neutral counterparty to all trades, acting as a riskless principal.
Mr. Thees brings thirty years of industry expertise and experience in building both traditional and electronic fixed income businesses and operations, and is a recognized leader in global financial services. Prior to joining Bonds.com, he served most recently as Head of Investment Grade Credit and formerly as co-head of Fixed Income for Jefferies & Co., and previously served as Chief Operating Officer of MarketAxess Holdings, Inc. Mr. Thees spent 17 years in senior management positions of increasing responsibility at Morgan Stanley & Co., 5 years at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., and also Citibank NA, and A.G. Becker & Co. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Bond Market Association (now SIFMA), including as Chairman of its Investment Grade Committee.
George O’Krepkie is President of Bonds.com Group, Inc. and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Bonds.com he was Head of Dealer Relationship Management at MarketAxess Inc. and previously Director, Fixed Income at BTIG. He began his focus in electronic trading at Trading Edge, which merged into MarketAxess. Mr. O’Krepkie is a twenty year industry veteran. He began his career at Kidder Peabody & Company and moved to Lehman & Merrill Lynch where he held roles of increasing responsibility in sales. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
John Ryan, CFO and CAO of Bonds.com Group, Inc. Prior to joining Bonds.com he served as CFO and CAO at various financial institutions including Greenwich Capital Markets, Inc. and Zurich Capital Markets, Inc.
Prior to joining Bonds.com Mr. Sacks held senior positions in technology for financial services. He was Head of Application Development and QA at MarketAxess. At Morgan Stanley he served in a series of positions including: Global Head of Bond Technology; Chief Operating Officer of Fixed Income Technology; and Global Head of Foreign Exchange Technology. He began his career at IBM Research and moved to Salomon Brothers prior to joining Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of Columbia University in Computer Science and of Harvard College.
Mr. Smith is responsible for customer, investor and strategic relationships, as well as new business development. Prior to joining Bonds.com he was the Senior Managing Director and Limited Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald Securities Corp, Inc., Managing Director at Maxcor Financial Group, Inc., and Broker/Limited partner at RMJ Securities Corp, Inc.
